A pending change will allow you to remove characters from targeting of these statuses with the Excommunication feature.

Confirmed, because you're an Archmage you were getting a Claim Dominion bonus that the Council has to vote for - and that according to my Councillor, it isn't currently voting for. Yes, the issue was that some skills in the doors pane were nullifying other buttons in the pane.

There's a pending fix for this.

Ancient Lighthouse is a double-movement tile type by design - this is a surprise to some but isn't a bug.

Sure, this is a good idea and super easy to add since it tracks the number already. Repairs already do this but in the next patch it'll be part of bashing.
