There are various magical items in the Nexus, though there's no way to craft them. This suggestion is that certain ones can be crafted with the appropriate skill tree and the Seal Magic skill. Crafting magical items would consume a potion of the relevant type and some MP as well (as well as requiring knowledge of the relevant skill/spell for the enchanting purposes).

For example, Flaming Sword- 2 Chunks of Steel, 1 Chunk of Stygian Iron, 1 Potion of Fire Affinity, 5 Base AP, 5 MP.

I'm not 100% sure what the nature of magical items will be in the next breath, but I know Kandarin has stated before that putting them in mundane tiles was a mistake in retrospect. I think the intent is to have more powerful items that are more rare, and making them craftable kinda loses that rarity (although this deep into b4, they are hardly rare, especially the stuff found in major resource buildings)

The current crop of plentiful, low-quality magical items was a bad decision that was made by someone who is no longer on the dev team over the objections of the rest of the team. They will not be appearing in Breath 5 search tables and will not be made craftable. Which is not to say this suggestion would be a bad idea if we did keep them - one of the effects of having them is that they make normal weapon crafting irrelevant and pointless, so it would be logical to add them to the weapon crafting system if they were going to hang around as a feature.

Future ideas about magical items will likely revolve around items that are much more powerful and genuinely rare.
