Instead of giving 1CP, Exploration Badges could give a tiny bonus to search chance or some other "exploration activities".

The total bonus from a full set should of course be small (for example 5% or 10%), similar in scale to other bonuses to not imbalance things.

There aren't plans to change the purpose of exploration badges, and the current mechanic is well-liked.
