Remove the notification that someone is attacking your ward.
Retain the Stronghold Ward is destroyed.

Remove the Ward HP numbers.
Retain Forts HP from Structural Engineering.

Raids are already defensive favored, this suggestion aims to make the reaction time of of defense a couple of minutes less.

The fun raids are when you can shout nasty things at those inside the SH and then get murdered by actives and not getting murdered in the doorstep and then shout nasty things in the void. Laughing

I'd argue that ward hp is useful for new players who don't realise they have to hit 1000 damage to break into a SH.
Wards could just display max ward hp instead of current hp?

TBH I pay attention to ward HP as a raider/while recapping much more than as defender. I find it's really handy to know if I need to put up more damage or if I'm going to make it at all. I do agree with the intent of the suggestion, though.

Not sure how big of a deal this is, though I'll also point out removing the warning would affect ward-tappers, whatever their reasons are for knocking (death farmers come to mind).

This. This is why we added visible ward HP.

We observed the typical starting behavior of a bunch of genuine new players and one of the most common behaviors was that people whacked away at stronghold wards trying to get inside, not realizing that their 3 HP kick isn't going to knock down 1000 HP of ward, not even if they spent all their starting AP on it. Who knows how many good players we lost to this frustration.

Yeah, Azure pointed out a really good reason to show the max health of a Stronghold.

As per the usefulness of seeing the HP of stronghold wards to attacking members, then maybe the Stronghold HP can only be shown to those who damage it?
