Upgrade descriptions of tiles that are at an edge of a map with an additional section that would describe some kind of actual end-of-the-world barrier. It can be an edge of flat earth, insurmountable hedge, mystic force field, or any other phenomenon - whatever fits that particular realm or location Smile

What exactly happens at the boundaries of a plane is one of those mysteries where having an absolute canonical word-of-devteam answer would take a bit of the wonder out of the world. This is a good topic to explore in roleplay instead. Smile

I don't think the suggestion talks about what happens so much as what it looks like. It would add some color to the border tiles. "Across the western edge of the field is a eucalyptus hedge. Beyond the hedge, you see only sky." It would still be up in the air what would happen if you jumped over.

What Kandarin is saying, however, is that what if your character thinks it's it's *not* a hedge. What if it's just a cliff into the void, or an endless plane/plain, or a mysterious wall...

I think Kandarin just meant that they do not want to add any explicit descriptions of how the edge of map looks like, and instead they deliberately leave it to player imagination and role-playing in chat.
