Have a sell to store option for found clothing/some items so a tiny amount of credits can be earned ingame and everyone has a chance to use the credit store.

Have the credit store allow you to alter/remove/rechoose a skill you took by accident or just really hate.

Discuss, poke holes through and or tear this apart pls.

There's a reason that the skill selection screen has a 'confirm'.

Perhaps a "Clothing Token" rather than a direct clothing to Credits trade, where each clothing item can be converted to a token worth the equivalent of perhaps 5 Credits, but these Clothing Tokens can only be spent on clothing. Otherwise you'd just have everybody in clothing stores constantly farming clothes to buy new characters etc.

What's wrong with that? The idea base is to make things more accessible for everyone, not limit choices.

This game is funded 100% by donations and/or out of pocket by those who run it...

Even at a 1:1 clothing to credit exchange I could farm certainly upwards of 600 credits per day, it's just not feasible to remove the game's sole source of revenue like that.

I'd agree with the suggestion if anything in the credit store - ANYTHING AT ALL - actually gave a mechanical benefit. But it's all specifically designed not to. They exist entirely as flavor stuff that you don't actually need.


Adding the ability to refund skills to the credit store was discussed once before, but that taps quite a lot into "mechanical bonus".


I'm sorry but this is simply out of the question. The worst of it is that while many factions have managed to build up an impressive wardrobe in their safe, allowing new characters to deck themselves out pretty easily... This would instantly result in everyone grabbing the precious clothes from the safe just to trade them in for credits upon credits. I'm sorry, but no. We can't do this.

What I'd actually want to see in the game is an auction/trading house.

So players can trade things without too much meta-gaming.
