Allow people to lock Black Prison, Forgotten Prison, and Slave Pens (and other related tiles) from the outside. These tiles could still be locked from the inside as well, meaning you can run into a tile where you can both pick a lock and lock the door. Obviously, the door must exist and be closed before it can be locked. Character inside the tile while the door is locked from the outside cannot just exit to the outside, although Wisp Form/seeping and other forms of bypassing locked doors will still allow them to. They are also free to Corner Step or move to another tile inside if it is a larger building.

Note that this would NOT apply to Police Stations and the like, because while they might reasonably have a jail cell or such, the main section of the Police Station would not be something that a person can be locked into. (and no blocking resource buildings this way)

[Additionally] You cannot lock the door of a Stronghold tile you do not belong to, even from the outside. No griefing a Faction with this suggestion, much like how you cannot repair doors or cut power to Faction Stronghold tiles.


The fact that I have a lifetime lockpicker was actually not relevant for this suggestion.

Doors are already a vestigial feature and we don't plan to make them more sophisticated.
