Nexus Clash :: View topic - [Change]Prayer: All Answers provide minor benefit minimum

As a possible solution to the issues associated with the Shepherd's Prayer, such as those mentioned in this thread, I propose a simple solution.
1) All prayer trees (Offense, Defense, etc...) have only one type of minor answer to prayer.
2) All Greater and Intermediate answers for a given prayer tree will provide the Minor Answer for that tree, in addition to whatever extra benefit of the higher level answer.
Minor: "Minor Rejuvenation" of +7MP (net +5MP) always
Intermediate/Greater: "Minor Rejuvenation" PLUS (Insert higher benefit)
Minor: +1 damage/+5% to hit
Int/Gr: +1 dmg/+5% to hit PLUS....
...and so forth. This would provide at least some reliability in the results of an answer.
Unless, of course, the gods really are that fickle.
I thought the point of the sheperds prayer was that the gods really are that fickle. In addition the minor results would have to be pretty lowWith the numbers you suggested it sounds like a combonation of SM without the damage and strong attack and weapon mastery + intermediate/greater bonuses.
Just to bring this back in the spotlight ... it really should be changed so that you cannot get the same buff if you already have it, that would fix the Light Within problem, and the annoying repeat of the same defensive or offensive and insight prayers over and over. Its awful getting the same results back to back even when pumping in 5 or 10 MP each time.
