So I've been diving in and out of the history and I've come across a few things that I was wondering if the code still exists for. I'm heading into Wizard and I'd like to push what magic is capable of.
B4 is a ground up production, so using B 3.5 as a testing grounds for ideas seems like a good idea to me.
Q: Pre-existing Planes (Purgatorio, Ghenna, etc)
Do these places still exist and players just don't have access to them or are they actually removed from the game?
Idea: Bringing back Pocket Planes;
Historically they seemed to be hand placed 1 tile sub spaces surrounded by impassable tile, so I had the thought of a mark/create pocket space spell. For a high cost, you can mark a tile and the type/plane is recorded behind the scenes.
You can then, for a high cost use a spell (or skill) to 'Create Pocket Plane' creating a copy of the marked tile as a sub-space.
-The entrance can't be hidden and will always be shown in the portals section.
-The pocket space imposes a semi-permanent MP penalty in effect as long as the pocket space is in existence.
Is that recorded somewhere because that seems to indicate the planes do exist but we just don't have access to them.
