Major General Smedley Darlington Butler. Participated in many invasions of Caribbean and Central American nations on behalf of the United Fruit Company. Invaded Veracruz, Mexico for which he received the Medal of Honor. Led the US invasion of Haiti, for which he received a second Medal of Honor.
